I love both lifestyle boudoir photography styles such as with Calvin Klein intimates and traditional boudoir photography with beautiful lingerie from Adore Me, Yandy, Savage & Fenty etc. These give different looks and vibes that might be attractive to women of different ages.
As I started my photography career as a portrait photographer 6 years ago, I was approached by clients who found me online. She was looking for bridal boudoir photos as a wedding gift for her soon-to-be husband. After that session, I was totally in love with it. I had a few more boudoir photography sessions after that and I was hooked.
Long story short, I moved and I have been focused on wedding photography for the past 3 years. Then one of my brides had a bridal boudoir photography session with me. It totally reminded me how much I loved it and how much I missed it. In the back of my mind, I knew one day I will go back to my portrait photography again when the timing is right which is now.

I begged my husband to give up our living room and turned it into my home studio. But this time, my studio is specifically for boudoir photography only. I love my dramatic and modern black floral wall and the neutral space by the windows for a bright and airy look. I guess you can find all the fifty shades of grey in this room. LOL…
I believe as the women of modern society, we should be able to express ourselves in a bold way. We should not be ashamed of who we are.
